NFCA
Nestled along the shores of Lake Conroe, Del Lago Resort is quickly becoming Texas’ preferred destination for conferences and conventions. Located just 45 minutes north of Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport, Del Lago features an 18-hole championship golf course, complete with one of Texas’ toughest finishing holes, along with lighted tennis courts, a health spa and fitness center, a white sand beach, oversized swimming pool, marina slip with boat rentals and fishing and a ropes course. NFCA attendees will receive complimentary entrance to Del Lago’s Health Spa for use of exercise room and equipment throughout the convention. Reservations — To make your hotel reservation, call 1-800/335-5246 and ask for reservations. Call before November 1 to assure room availability and rate. Make sure that you state that you want rooms within the NFCA block. If the resort sells out, the NFCA has blocked overflow rooms at a nearby hotel and condominiums, with free shuttle service to the resort. Check-In — By 4 p.m. is guaranteed; check-out is noon. Rates — The NFCA has acquired the following rates beginning Wednesday, November 26, through Tuesday, December 9: $95 Single (Tower Suites) Cancellations — If you must cancel your reservation, you will be charged for one night’s lodging unless the cancellation is received at least 72 hours in advance. Travel Arrangements Airport Transportation — If you need transportation to and from the airport, the NFCA has contracted transportation with a bus company. Transportation is $10 each way with a seven-day advance reservation. Please E-mail your travel arrangements to Directions from Bush Intercontinental — Follow JFK Boulevard to Beltway 8. Turn right on Beltway 8, then right on I-45. Take I-45 North to Exit #87 in Conroe, State Highway 105. Turn left on Highway 105. Take State highway 105 West 12 miles until you reach Walden Road. Turn right and proceed two miles, then turn right onto Del Lago Boulevard.
What to Wear?
The average temperatures in the Houston, Texas, area in late November/early December range from a high of 71 in the day to a low of 53 at night. There will be an outdoor evening activity if not too chilly, so please bring appropriate clothing.
Attendee Refund Policy — Cancellations received prior to November 19 will receive a full refund, minus an administrative fee of $25. Cancellations after November 19 but prior to November 26 will receive a one-half refund. There will be no refunds for cancellations on or after November 26.
